One thing I'd emphasize is that the show's treatment of multiple disabilities, psychological and physical, in its major and recurring characters is significantly better than that of any other show I've recently encountered. That's really encouraging to hear! My assumption had been the opposite, sad to say, in part because it gets billed alongside The United States of Tara so frequently, which: hahahaha, nope. I'll keep that one in mind, as well as Homicide! My dad loves that show! I keep meaning to have a look at the dvds when I'm at my parents' because I've heard good things.
That's disappointing about The Good Wife, though: I have really only heard good things about Kalinda, when I hear anything about the show, not really anything about the quality of the show, which is probably telling. Thank you for the warning!
